“It was back in 2021 when the Vaste Program first visited Sicily, invited by viaraffineria with the support of the OELLE Ancient Mediterranean Foundation. That year saw the devastating fire at La Playa lido, a seaside resort in Catania, where the well-known “Boschetto della Playa” and some bathing establishments burned. CALENTAMIENTO became an artist's edition that takes the form of an LP in a limited edition of 50 copies.
The edition is designed to continue to resonate, to a reggaeton beat, the Glagow Climate Treaty of 2022 from which the audio track originates. The proceeds will go to support the project.

BANDANA
Designed by Giuseppe Di Liberto on the occasion of Stendalì - suonano ancora | una sagra contemporanea, the bandana traces the iconography of the Ars moriendi (from Lat. “art of dying”), illustrated manuscripts widespread in Europe since the Late Middle Ages containing tips and practices for a good death. Not sure how to escape an awkward conversation? The bandana illustration will guide you to an old-fashioned escape route.
